Taking a break from her work at greendesigns is Julie, of pressed flower cards. Occasionally Julie puts aside her pressed flowers, paper and glass, and takes up her camera. This is an interest that she has followed for 20 years, since she bought her first 35mm SLR. It was a Minolta x-300, and it is still her favourite camera. Now, of course, the lenses and rings and filters require a small pick-up truck. Julie says that not only does going out with the camera give her time off, it also re-inspires and recharges her batteries. This latest collection of flowers demonstrates her love of nature and her eye for beauty.
